Rowing is a popular sport in Munich. Munich welcomes hundreds of young participants from all over Europe. I am very happy to accept the patronage for the 2021 European Junior Championships and wish all participants exciting and successful races.

The 1972 Olympic Regatta Centre offers perfect conditions for our young rowers. At a place where Olympic champions were once celebrated, now young athletes go after their first international titles, opening the door to a great athletic career.

Regatta München mit seinem Vorstand und dem Regattastab trauern um unsere stellvertretende Vorstandsvorsitzende und wunderbare Freundin Jutta Deuschl. Sie hat heute, am 19. Januar 2021, zum letzten Mal vom Steg abgelegt. Unser herzliches Beileid gilt Ihrem Mann Thomas, ihrer Familie und ihren Freunden. Uns alle hat die traurige Nachricht hart getroffen, wir können es noch nicht wirklich fassen.

It is with a very heavy heart that Regatta München announces the passing of our Vice-President and dear friend Jutta Deuschl. Jutta passed away this morning. Regatta München, its Board of Directors and its regatta management team are deeply saddened, a wonderful soul cast off from the pontoon for the last time today. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her husband Thomas and her family and friends. The sad news has hit us all hard and we can't really believe it yet. ...
